Hoodoo Lord is the latest project of Theron Bennett from just outside of Athens, GA. Heavily influenced by Sabbath, Zeppelin, Hendrix, as well as all grunge and stoner rock. He is a multi-instrumentalist who writes, records and produces his music.

It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that Slift is a three piece band. Their sound is huge, melodic and chaotic in the best way possible. I highly recommend this album.

Well, this sure is interesting. Sounds to me like the Beatles and Pink Floyd did a collaborative side project, equal parts psychedelic and heavy, softly. The drumming really stands out, and the whole effort feels effortless yet inspired.
